Incase you didn’t read my blog yesterday, I had a terrible panic attack. Since then, I have been so anxious about having another panic attack. I did not sleep at all last night because of this (along with one hundred other things going through my head).

This morning I had a opthamology appointment for my yearly check. I was also fitted for contacts. My eyes are still dilated and my appointment was at 9:00AM this morning and it’s currently 6:00PM. I have not been able to do much all day but watch tv, which isn’t helping my anxiety.

Around 3:30-4:00PM I noticed a slight smell of gas in my kitchen. I asked my husband if he smelled anything and he said no. My neighbor was outside and he said he could smell natural gas outside. I called 911 and the police and fire department came right away. It was a party at my house with the police and fire department. They could smell gas when the heat clicked on but the gas detector they used did not pick up anything. They checked out the furnace and said everything seemed okay and told us to have our furnace checked tomorrow. I’ve been paranoid since they left.

Our furnace is less than a year old and is still under warranty. We have an appointment tomorrow set up to have the furnace checked. I know I won’t be able to sleep tonight due to the anxiety I already had and now this anxiety. I’m really struggling this week with coping with all of my issues. Its been extremely challenging. I just want this week to be over.

To my new followers, welcome to Smiling Through Tears. This blog is a daily account of my struggle with mental health disorders. To all of my returning followers, thank you for supporting me and following my journey.
