Maggie and Sadie…my “therapy” dogs

Scroll down to content

These pictures are of my girls Maggie (8 1/2 years old) and Sadie (2 years old.) These two are my lifeline. Yes, I am married but my girls have a special place in my heart. Maggie has been there with me through so much. She is not a registered therapy dog, but she’s my therapy dog. When we brought her home at 8 weeks old and I knew then there was something special about her. Maggie and Sadie know when I need cuddle time, when I need someone to follow me around, lay on me to make me feel “safe,” and so much more. I love these two SO, SO much.

To my new followers, welcome to Smiling Through Tears. This blog is a daily account of my struggle with mental health disorders. To all of my returning followers, thank you for supporting me and following my journey.

    Hi Auntie Elizabeth!
    Cooper & Gracie💖
On top of PTSD, major Depression, severe Panic Disorder, Fibromyalgia, IBS and agoraphobia, I had a severe nervous breakdown and spent two months as an in-patient., 20 years ago, after a near-fatal car accident.Things I saw still haunt me.

    1. Awww I’m SO glad you still have the magnet. Hi Cooper and Gracie, we love you. Nicole, need to talk. We have a lot in common and it would be good to bounce ideas off each other on how to cope. Call me sometime when you are free. Im usually always available lol
